Children do not have credit, because you have to be of legal age to sign an enforcable contract, and that is what credit accounts are.  The age when they can do this (and it has to be their decision and responsibility) is 18.  You can begin teaching them financial responsibility right now, and that would be a good idea.

Jwsister's response is spot on. Let your children build their own credit. They can put up their own money towards a secured credit card when they're old enough. Educate your children on financial matters.

You've asked for advice and we've given it.  THEY MUST be of legal age to obtain credit. You cannot do this for them as that would be fraud. You need to read about credit and understand it. There are numerous articles here and all over different websites. Teaching financial responsibility is one of the best things you can do for your children.
