student loans of 15,000 but want a loan of 15,000, possible?
Credit score of 688 but have a short credit history. Income of about 20,000 a year. Is this even possible to get approved for without a cosigner?

and you might be able to get a loan with out a co-signer.

Before taking on new debt though, I would get your student loan debt down.  Right now your debt to income ratio is 75%,  That doesn't look good to any lender specially when you have a short credit history.

Good luck
