Should I ask to raise the limit on my current credit card or apply for a different card?
I'm 19 years old and have one credit card open (about 11 months) with a credit union. I was wondering if it would be beneficial for me to either ask for an increase in my current credit limit of 500 dollars to 1000 dollars. Or if it would simply be more beneficial for me to open a new credit card with a similar 1000 dollar limit?
