Rebuild credit after bankruptcy
My bankruptcy is over two years old. My lawyer told me to get a credit card as soon as I could aftwards, then charge something and pay it off when I get the bill. he told me to do this every other month so I would go a month without charging anything. He said it could raise my score by as much as 10 points a month. I've been doing that for about 1 1/2 years and my vantage score is slowly climbing but my transrisk score hasn't moved. What am I doing wrong?
