Student loans aren't dischargeable in a bankruptcy. How about working to pay your debts?   You don't need the latest cell phone.  Read all you can about credit cards and managing money responsibly. You're young and there's no reason you can't work 80+ hours a week as my stepson did to get out of debt.

You can't use bankruptcy for Federal student loans, but you can for private student loans.
