How to get rid of multiple hard credit inquiries in small time frame, or group as one?
From rate shopping online, don't want lenders to think I wasn't approved.

If you authorized the inquiry

its pretty hard to get it removed. When you were rate shopping you authorized them to check your credit so they could quote you a rate.

The process to get them removed requires getting the lender that did the inquiry to contact the credit bureaus and having the inquiry removed. that requires certified mail and a lot of fanegiling on your part.  Since it cost the lender to do the inquiry and it will cost them to have it removed, and you did not take the loan, there is very little incentive for them to work with you.  If you contact them they may promise to do a removal but they rarely do.

 Good luck
