How quickly will my scores rebound
We have been working like mad to improve our scores, pay down debt and get on track. We had some major success and improved our scores a ton. We talked to a mortgage broker 3 weeks ago and he pulled our scores and said we were about 640 and we'd qualify but he suggested cleaning a few more things up on our report.

We disputed a ton of stuff and every thing was removed. We also validated some debt and had some major things ($6800 collection account) removed. We thought we were in great shape as our scores with the credit bureaus were near 700. We found a great program for teachers in our state that contributes to your downpayment and also gives a 3% interest rate so we applied again. We were denied! Our fico scores have dropped 25 points! She said it was from the amount of inquiries we've had in a short amount of time. Any idea how long it will take for this to rebound? I'm so discouraged as I've worked so hard to clean everything up. We have baby #3 coming in 2 months and were so hoping to be house bound.
