By getting into debt.... only kidding!

In all honesty the game of credit starts with taking out loans (credit cards and cars, usuall in that order) and paying the bills on time every time in full. Never run up a credit card past 10%, and pay it off in full every month. Don't apply for credit more than 2-3 times per year (ideally every 2 years). If you cannot get approved for an unsecured credit card, then pony up the cash and get a secured credit card.

Don't be supprised if your first credit card is only a couple hundred dollars.

OH and don't use co-signers ever, it is unfair to them and ruins relationships.
