False information given in establishing identity
I just opened my Credit Karma account and one of the questions they asked, to establish my identity, was about a car loan opened in January 2014. The next question regarded the monthly payment for said loan. To proceed, I checked none of the above, but I haven't had an auto loan since 2006. Is this a mistake or do they sometimes provide false information to make sure they are dealing with the right consumer? Or, am I possibly the victim of identity theft?!? Although my credit scores are considered excellent, this is still rather disconcerting! I appreciate any feedback.
