Collections Removal From Credit Report
Checked CK on 10/24. Specifically the "removed collections" tab on the credit report. There are several medical bills that are listed as "removed" but are listed in the "open collections" tab of my credit report. It should be noted that the "removed" collections are from one debt collection company, and the ones that are "open" are from a different company. I'm assuming they sold the debt again, as there is a one month difference between the closed date of one company, and the opened date of the other. But it is the same debt. Once a debt is removed from the report, can another company report it?
