I recently applied for this card in answer to a pre-approval offer from the bank and received it. No complaints about the card or it’s prigrams as of yet but what really ticked me off is that even as Capital One card holder the bank still did a hard pull on all three bureaus. Maybe I’m wrong but when I’ve added cards from a bank with which I already had a card (especially when answering one of their own pre-approval letters they didn’t even do a hard pull much less a hard pull on all three bureaus when opening a additional account. They have my perfect payment history with them and whatever they got when the pre-approved me. Not that I was completely surprised by credit pull I just figured at most maybe one bureau. Maybe I’m just wrong on this and it’s the policy of most banks but not the few others I deal with. It just seemed unecassary to pull all those reports. And it was a instant online approval. 

Will update when I have had more time to use it some more. Don’t foresee any negatives. s

I have had this card for a short time and have had none of the problems others have had. I recieved my sign up bonus within the first month and I didn’t have to ask for it, it was just there a couple of days after meeting the required spend. I know Wells has had their share of problems lately but this card isn’t one of them at least in my experience. I will say the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the app seems rather antiquated, it’s more like a reformatted web page but it does get the job done.

They have recently eliminated extras

This card has recently started eliminating all the extra cardholder benefits that it once had. Price protection etc. I’ve recently received almost a letter a month about some elimination of this benefit or that. Not that I used those benefits much but it’s now just basically a cashback card. That’s fine, I just don’t like having benefits removed that I once had. Makes you feel cheated. Plus with 760’s I find them slow to increase credit limits. Other cards just increase it without one having to ask.
