What Is a Home Insurance Score?

That makes perfect sense to me. What doesn't make sense is that all of my credit scores on CK are in the "excellent" range or on the high end of the "good" or B range. That is, all except for my home insurance score, which is in the "very poor" range. I could understand a little variance, but how can there be that much variance?

What ever happened to the section where CK compared our scores to other demographics? I really liked that. Seeing where I stood relative to others in my state, or age, or income range, etc. It was very helpful and interesting.

An explanation would be nice...

An explanation from Credit Karma would be nice. I assume since this is very new that is is experimental and not yet reliable. But like others, it bugs the hell out of me. All of my other scores, including auto insurance score, are in the Excellent range but this one is in the Very Poor range. That can't be right, assuming it uses the same credit data from our records as the other scores. Please, just some explanation of what this is about?

TR score dropped 13 points - only positive changes

Well this is just bizarre -- today my score is back up to where it was before. And again, there were no significant changes. Just two more credit card payments, reducing my balances by a few dollars.

I'm not necessarily concerned with knowing how the sauce is made, just why a score could change so drastically with absolutely zero negative movement in the credit report factors. Unless there are other factors that go into the score besides those that CK reports.
