i differ in your opinion. There is nothing wrong with debt. If not for loans how would anybody purchase a house? Secondly there are time when you can get a low interest loan to make a large purchas over many years in which the interest would be equivelant to inflation. The key is only borrow what you can affod to pay back, be educated about how much borrowing will cost (in interest, payments), and don't agree to anything crazy like variable interest mortages, leasing a vehicle instead of purchasing, extremely high interest vehicle/credit card/personal loans.

To sum it all up. Debt is fine as long as you understand it and make an educated decision.
