I have a 745 trasunion and a 746 equifax. Applied, got approved for 9600. The inquiry only went to transunion (minus 3 points for the inquiry). I get the $200 reward after spending $500, however, I'm immediately going to be slammed with 15+% interest. Considering I pay 0% on ALL of my other cards, this is unexpected. Additionally, I was NOT offered a balance transfer! (when 0% interest in balance transfers for 15 months was advertised in my pre-screened offer, on their site, and was the main reason I applied). I have only $3500 in total debt, and about $28,000 available. Basically, I'll spend the $500, take the $200 reward, pay it, and never use the card again. In a nut shell, I didn't get what was advertised, and I'm a prime applicant. Hope this helps.

Nothing special

I had scores of 700 and 702, approximately 20% usage, excellent approval odds. I was approved for 4200. I called about this and was shrugged off. I have another amex card with a 15000 limit so I was expecting a high limit. I did not get hit with a hard inquiry because I had an existing amex account. Came with the rewards as promised. 150 for the first 1000 spent. And another 100 if you can spend 6500. Not a very useful card to be honest.

This is not a review. This is an observation of the card construction quality. This is completely useless to people applying for the card.

In a review, people are looking for interest rates, rewards, your credit score at the time of application, income, and credit limits. All so we can figure out if the card is worth applying for.

How can you justify leaving a review when you can't spell the company name correctly?
You can't just replace any vowel with an o and expect it to work.

Drop in score, nothing negative

Jul 05, 2016

I've experienced the same thing with a student loan. Negative information from that account fell off my report. My score dropped 75 points. The expired missed payment was the only change. Utilization is the same. Account numbers are the same. Inquiries the same. NO negative information what-so-ever. Never a missed payment now.           So, to recap,a missed payment came off my report, and my score went from 725, to 650, overnight.

My credit score dropped 75 and 84 points in one month?

Jul 05, 2016

No. Hard inquiries only cost about 7 points. Your likely culprit is credit utilization.

score dropped after negative information came off credit report

Jul 05, 2016

I have just experienced the same thing. Negative information expired last week, and my score dropped from 725 to 650. The account is still there as paid. Nothing else has changed. Utilization is the same.
