I saw on TV that the banks only care about the FICO score. Is the credit score we see here the same?

It's your score from Transunion, which is the highest of the 3

my transunion and credit karma score are different by about 10 points.
camalott4 1 year ago
But the "actual" score pulled dirrectly from Transunion is actually not exactly the same...and will be "off" from anywhere from 10-70 points.

TransUnion has different formulas for credit scores: there's the VantageScore, the TransRisk score which is what Credit Karma uses. Since they both come from TransUnion, your scores are both calculated from the same credit report; what is different between FICO and your Credit Karma score is the formula and model used to calculate your credit score.

No, our credit score is 50pts higher on credit karma vs what the bank says it is. (We were just there this past week.)

The actual FICO scores are different. In my instance the actual scores were 35 points higher...I have had others say the opposite was true, and that the actual was quite lower
