with people who have a credit score of 559 or lower is there a way to get a personal loan(not a payday advance) to consolidate all my payments without doing debt consolidation?

I have paid off most of the negative items on my credit report but my score is still very low. How long before i see any type of change in my score? Do i have to pay EVERYTHING on my credit to make it go up? Times are hard but i'm trying. what can i do?

I update my score in CK every few days.. will it hurt something...

No it won't hurt anything. But every few days is not necessary since most lenders only report once every 30 days. Two or three times per month is plenty.

My score went down! I paid off all collections, late pays, & made several corrections. I check my score today via CK, and guess what.......score went down!!!!!
I know there are many factors that go into the scores, but please, give me a break!

Couple of things to note. First, it usually take about 30 days for payments to appear on your credit score. Secondly, sometimes paying off collections can hurt your score short term. The reason is that the update on your collections accounts can make it appear as recent. Keep in mind that is only a short term decline and your score should improve long term.

I have around $150,000 debts between my personal credit and my business credit (that I close around 6 months ago). I'm not working right now, living with unemployment check. Single mother and no child support (mi ex owns me around $90,000). My credit score is 540 and I can't find any company that I can take a personal loan because my credit score is too low. I was thinking file for bankruptcy in that way I can wipe out all my debts and start fresh, I think in this point with few judgments, credit cards charge off, a collections agencies in my credit report I don't how worst can get. Do you think that will be a good idea to file for bunkruptcy or just deal with settlement. How my credit score will be improve or no with a bankruptcy. Thanks for your help.

Using Credit Karma will NOT lower your credit score. This is a common misconception.
