I live in an apartment with one roommate.
Currently, all of our utility (electricity and internet) accounts are taken under his name and he takes care of paying the bills.
I was wondering if having utility accounts under my name and paying bills on time will improve my credit score.
Please shed some light. Thank you.

No. Utility bills aren't traditionally used as credit history, unless you let them go into collections.
