How to increase credit score

You know what I just ran a score simulator.  Before reducing cc debt to zero score was 772.  After reducing to zero score was 772.  Either the simulator is broken or the amount of credit you have doesn't matter.  Personally I'd rather have zero credit card debt and a score of 772 than a cc balance of 6k and a score of 772.

Just ran a simulated score.  Before I cut my credit card balance to  $0.00, my score was 772.   After I cut my cc balance to zero my score was 772.

AMEN brother!!!!!!!! Do what your grandparents did. Save up and pay CASH for your purchases. If you pay cash for a $1000.00 item, it cost you $1000.00 not $1K plus interest.

Credit Card Approval Insights

I know know multi millionares with a credit score of 0 because they haven't borrowed money in over a dedcade. My score is 770 if a issuer of credit looked at our scores I would be approved and they would be denied or get horrible %rate. Now, who is more likely to default on a loan the multi millionare with a score of 0 or me making $50,000/yr?
