I was pre-approved for nonsecured card with a cr of 587. The card arrived today. It is a platinum card with $300 limit (no much, but I really only want it to build credit with so that is fine) and an annual fee of $59. I might try tl04sn's tactic and see if I can get the fee down, but I was pretty happy to get an unsecured card.
