This has been my primary card for a few years now. The 1% cash back is good, because I'm not forced to buy junk I don't need to receive my reward. More importantly, each month a different category of spending gets bumped to 5% cash back. These are real categories, like "gas" and "groceries", not obscure categories like flights departing Kalamazoo, Michigan in the third week of April.
On the down-side, it's Discover, so there are plenty of places where you can't use it. All told, I am quite satisfied.

Citi® Diamond Preferred® Rewards Card
Several months ago, this card started charging an annual for low usage. I do not have the letter in front of me, but I want to say $2,000 minimum during the year. Fee is waived if you meet this threshold.
Unfortunately for me, it's my oldest line of credit, and I'm applying for a mortgage, so I can't cancel it just yet. The night we close however, the card goes through the shredder.
In my opinion, you should never accept an annual fee... Unless the rewards are spectacular, I suppose. The rewards on this card are not spectacular.
