Gmail is encrypted and includes a full compliment of high-performing google docs office suite programs. All are easy to use, in the cloud, and have the google IT genius behind the scenes - with constant improvements and add-ons. Gmail also features non-obnoxious and actually useful discreet ads that are interesting and relevant - rather than blaring in your face graphics. Spam is at a bare minimum - if at all - with the great gmail spam filters. I cringe when I see people on emails such as AOL, comcast, hotmail... My current score: 802. (PS: I do not work for google - I am just a raving gmail fan.)
