I used Orchard Bank to help build my credit. They do some things I don't like; 19.9% interest, $65? yearly fee. BUT, they do one thing I do like; they report to all 3 of the major credit reporting agencies. So if you pay that bill on time, it will help your score. But with an interest rate THAT high, you don't want to carry a balance. Just charge a tank of gas per month, or pay for a monthly subscription with that card and always pay the balance in full when the bill comes in. I used the Orchard Bank card from my Rhapsody, and Netflix subscriptions. My bill was around $25 every month.

You have a score of 745 and you're complaining? LOL I'm at 727 and I'm happy as a jay bird. I've been increasing my score by aggressivly reducing my unsecured debt. My bank has online banking and a bill pay system. I set up scheduled payments to my unsecured debt accounts for the next 6-months. At the end of that 6-months I should be completely out of debt except for student loans and mortgages. Then I will aggessively attack that student loan starting next year. My hope is that all of that will get me up to 750, or at least up to where you are at. LOL

I recently bought a new house. When I applied for the mortgage the loan officer told me my credit scores with the main three credit bureaus. With just a quick calculation in my head, it seemed that the CreditKarma score was a close average of the other three scores. Ask your bank if they draw your scores from all of the big three credit bureaus.
