I read in the FAQ section on their webpage that they do not report as a Secured Credit Card.

haven't applied for card as yet but a one time 79. fee is quite good. most companies will charge 2 or 3 fees going in as well as an annual fee.

i think this is the best secured card .like the said only $79 activition fee.take for instance other banks that issue credit card for bad credit.they have like a dozen fees and by the time all is deducted there is on like $50 on your credit line lol

On a secured card, your deposit will be refunded assuming you are current on the account.

I have a 634 score what's the average time to boost that score to a 700 with this card if paid on time and card used monthly never late?

Results vary for each consumer based on their credit report. Try our credit score simulator to learn about your specific case.

This seems like a great offer, especially for someone like me with a credit score of 513, but I fill out the application, 60% done, and then they want my bank account number so they can deduct $300 (minimum) out of my bank. If this is a CREDIT card, then why do you have to put money on the card before you even get it to use???????
mufasa1978 1 year ago
It is a secured credit card meaning you have to put down a security deposit.

That's what I get once I click the final authorization to pull the money from my checking account. What a failure. I wonder if I'll even get the card.

you can usually do the same thing with your credit union. I'd look into a secured account with a credit union before doing this.
