Am trying to rebuild my credit. Started with a couple annual fee cards, then got a new car loan (wrx...i LOVE it), and finally got approved for the freedom card. The point earning potential is GREAT! Almost the best there is out there. especially when you combine the bonus categories WITH the 10 and 10 for having a checking account with them and the $200-$300 sign up bonus. i think the best use for this card is your everyday purchases. I buy normal items on it and pay it off at the end of the month. I work with creditcards...the freedom card in particular...and confess the rate is far from the best out there. even if you have a score of 850. but if you use it and pay it off everymonth it just like paying yourself back for something you buy already.

I have just started credit. Started with CapitaOne Mastercard Secured Card. Took out some loans for about $2,000 each all paid off withing six months. Seven months later credit score went from 650 to 751. Got approved for  Chase Freedom Visa $5K Spending limit. I'm stoked!!
