Horizon Gold Credit Line

This company is lying and deceitful! i would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Good luck with customer service if you need it! Also, be aware of the money that they rob from you every month!  

Actually after careful review I happened to apply for this line of credit and found it not to be a scam nor hoax. When they extend to you a line of credit they are also giving you a business oppourtunity. Much like a store line of credit this card works in the same way. I hardly think it is a scam as it allows you to borrow from your unsecured line of credit through the use of third party lenders and they are also a Federal Credit Union, So in other words if you are not business savvy or knew how a traditonal finance charge card works then I do not think this card would be for you. However, if you are a energetic self starter and an accomplished manager in retail then you are in the green. If you are a credit junkie or just a dead beat looking to get a credit card then this credit card would cause you more greif than success.

In the future I think more people should know the difference between a credit card, charge card and finance card.

I am a Tax Payer and Registered Business with a Federal Tax ID in Excellent Standing also a card holder. My opinion is relevant to this as it effects my business and line of equity.

This card blew my christmas I talk to a rep who lied to me and told me I could use anywere and then I get it already had shoping plans for xmas with it and I call in i can only on a website with cheap dollor store/value store crap people don't get this card it is not  what you think its a piece of **** Im so **** right now now I don't even know what to do for christmas **** you Horizon Gold card **** you I wouldnt even give this one star 

This card is something else! I was excited to see that I was approved for this card just because I do have bad credit. When I filled out the application they wanted a visa or MasterCard number, I was thinking maybe to make sure that the person who is filling it out is legit. Come to find out they billed my card $29.95. A few days later I get the card log into the site and then they tell me that they want my monthly payment. Come again? I only had the card in my hands for 2 minutes. While I was waiting for the card I was trying to find what stores I could use the card at. Sadly the answer to that is only 1 and that’s theirs! When I got into the site I got looking and some of their stuff is decent and cheap. I was excited to find polo jeans for $15.00!! I went ahead added items to my cart, proceeded to the checkout only to find that yes, you can use your card to buy items BUT you have to enter a visa or MasterCard to pay for the shipping and processing. Yeah, I don’t think so on that one. I went ahead and cancelled my card surprisingly it was easy. so I guess if your a sucker this card is for you they have so many hidden fees its obnoxious  I would NOT recommend this card, not even to my worst enemy!!

Senting your money to a company like Horizon Gold was your first mistake. Your second mistake was thinking that you were going to be able to use this like a "REAL" credit card. You can make purchases with this card BUT only from their on-line store. GOOD EXAMPLE: At another real store you can purchase an Acer 15" Dual core i5 processor with a 750gb hard drive for 399.00 and at Horizon you can purchase this unit in their electronics section but it cost $859.00 plus the interest you will pay for using the card and the balance that is over your $500 limit. Best thing you can do with their card is cut it up and send it back to them in very small pieces. Don't let these people take your money. Go to Capital One and apply for their card, they approve almost everyone and it is a real card that you can use any where. This card will not help your credit in any way. BAD HORIZON GOLD, SHAME ON YOU !!!!
