This card is absolutely amazing. People bitch about AMEX becuase it tends to be not be accepted to as many places as other merchants, but I've had the card for a little over a year and i cannot praise it highly enough. The fact that you are working with AMEX directly and not some bank's BS is a plus, and they have always treated me awesomely. Last time i called in to request a new card (last one got cracked), they told me i can lower my APR, and reiminded me about features i didnt even know i had! Extended warrenty, Roadside assistance, Lost item replacement? Seriously? WOW!
I am a college student who is opening his own small, cell-based buissness with a 698 CS. I may get a card from another cardholder, but AMEX will always be my preferred card comapany.

I got denied with a 707 CreditKarma score. Though I've only had student loans for about a year, and 2 credit cards since June ($1250 total CL).

I find the full 30 day grace period a huge advantage of this card. Simplifies everything and would be my only card if AMEX was accepted more readily.
