I want others to know that Prosper will work with you.....to make sure you get what you need...having a consolidation loan really pays off. And the rates I have for my loan are affordable and the interest rates are great

Worst idea ever dont do it! Had the worst time with the Customer Service staff. Back and forth with paper work.
A waste of time and a lot of work. First, they do a soft pull on all three credit bureaus to see if they can approve you. After doing so they ran a hard inquiry and gave me my rate and terms on a $35,000 loan. Next, they wanted a color e-mail copy of my driver licesnse and social security card. I'm 65 years old with excellent credit and never used my social security card in 50 years and do not have it but they insisted on it. So, I went to the Social Secuirty Office as I could not get it online, waited two and a half hours to apply and a week later got my card. Next, I sent them the color e-mail copy. Now they had my paystubs which show strong income and they had my bank statement also. Next, they called me to say my loan was approved. So a waited four days and did'nt receive my loan! Next, I called them and they said the loan was not approved without any reason. They said I'll get a form letter in the mail. Steer clear of these people - they are a waste of time!
I applied for this card after being accepted for a Chase sapphire card. I received a response in the mail and it asked that I call in with a reference number. After a quick conversation I was approved with a $4500 dollar credit limit or that is what I was told. Here's where things got kinda weird. A week passed and I'm anticipating this new Slate card in the mail. I get a letter from Chase indicating that I've been disapproved because I have too many open accounts with Chase. A few days pass and I don't think much of it because other credit card company's have sent me pre-approval offers like Discover card that offers a much better rate by the way. So anyways I figure I'll give Chase a call and see what all this having too many open accounts with Chase business is all about. Mind you I have a new Saphire card and a twelve year mortgage with Chase never late in the 12 years I might add. So they put me through to this credit guy named Ulysses. Well Ulysses gives me the third degree about who I am mother's maiden name , first born you know the drill. After over 45 minutes he gets back on the phone and starts asking me about a charge off from over 7 years ago.
This charge off is by on my credit record with any of the three credit reporting agency's. So he tells me after consideration I've been disapproved. Anyways this week Discover card approved me for $12,000 dollar credit line with the Discover It credit card. I recommend sta ying away from the Slate card. You will be better served with Discover card.
