INCOMPETENT!

I have had this credit card for years. Never ever been late! I paid my bill. I have a confirmation that I paid my bill. They sent me a late charge. I spent hours on the ohone. The next bill they Realised their mistake and removed the late charge. I have copies of that. They sent me to the credit bureaus for being late. Hours more on the phone! They told me it was not sent to the credit bureaus, as I see it in Black and white! Now they are saying it could take more than 30 days to remove it from the credit bureaus! BUT it took them seconds to put me there!

Never ever will I use a credit card from this store.

Do not get this card, get Macy's you will actually get coupons and rewards. To pay my bill I have to log into two seperate websites. They do carry more than alot of other department stores but there is no point on buying if you they don't plan to give you a credit increase or much rewards. Anyways stay away don't get this card.

Terrible online payment methods. You have to jump through hoops just to pay your **** credit card bill. Not only do you have to have a username and password for dillards.com but you have to have a separate one for their stupid online payment system. WTF? Who has time to remember extra passwords?! Don't get this card, you'll regret it.

Bad customer service

Now that Wells Fargo has taken over the Credit card services for Dillards forget it.  I created a new profile and everything seemed ok.  First time I tried to make an online payment - my account is locked out.  I called the customer service agent was very rude and supposedly changed the password.  Sure enough my account is still locked out and they refuse to help out.  I can't get ONLINE to CHAT because of this either.  I have called numerous times - instead they put you on hold.  Good to know - they can pay my phone bills too.

Never received a credit limit increase
Helpful to 1 out of 2 people

I have had this card since April '14 and have yet to receive any kind of credit limit increase. I have never been late on a payment and the card was recently paid off. All of my other cards( aside from my capital ones) give me cli every 4 months. I applied for wal mart and received a cli within just a month. Does anyone know of why this may be? Is there a way to request a cli?

The only way you receive a cli from Dillards is to have a hard pull on your credit report

Paid it off and never got a new card

I had the new Dillards Elite American Express card. Used it once and paid it off. Card expired 12/2014 and I still hadn't received my new card. I just called and the customer service rep said they sent a new card 12/5/14 and I said well I never received it. He put me on hold for 5 mins and came back and said the account will close since it expired and I said why, I didn't ask to close it. He couldn't give me a good answer but said I could reapply. WTF??? So one minute he tells me they sent me a new card almost a month ago and the next minute he tells me the account will be closed. I made all payments on time when I paid off the balance. I will not reapply. This is bad business especially for those who have good credit. I will stay away!

They changed dramatically

They were fantastic at first, then about 2 years ago they started  to mess around with my privledges like the free gift wrapping and the free shipping.  Then I noticed that every time they paid they would reduce my limit.  After a while I noticed that they started to charge for services thaat were free.  I paid off all that I owed them according to my figures and walked away.
