Terrible experience. First they used my extra principal payment to pay interest, now when I paid my loan off, they can't or won't come up with the title. Told me to go beg the state if I want my title. Ar least I wasn't foolish enough to use Chase for my mortgage.
Chase Auto has to be the worst financing company ever! I have made 13 payments, on time, never late and never missed a payment. My car has been in the shop getting repaired for over 3 months. I have not had the car in my position and continued making payments. I now have almost an additional $1,200 dollars coming out of pocket with having to buy ubers and renting cars. Mind you, I have 5 kids who need to get to and from school and other activities. I called to defer 1 payment 3 weeks prior to my payment being due and they denied me! I have never had such a difficult time deferring a payment on any other auto loans I have had. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Chase for your auto loan needs. It is next to impossible to get approved on deferring a payment, that should scare anyone looking into getting a car loan.
Their customer service and communication is terrible.
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!! Rude, not friendly at all. Each person told me something different about my auto loan. I would have fired the first one I spoke with, she was beyond rude!!! Next!!
Customer service is horrible. Terrible, heartless humans. Don't go through Chase.
Do not use this company for a car loan they will lie to you, they will cheat you and they will not honor their word in any way shape or form stay away from chase Auto!!!
Traded in my vehicle, they release the title to the vehicle to the dealership even though there was a balance on the trade in loan. Had to pay the rest of the loan because the new dealership did not pay the correct amount. The title should have not been released if there was a balance on the trade in loan.
I’m sorry but chase auto loan is trash! In 2018 I got my first car and got a deal with Chase through the dealership with a 4% interest rate. Everything was fine. But I remember in 2019 I was on maternity leave trying to survive and chase would not let me skip one month until I went back to work. But I said ok. I paid faithfully and on time for 4 years and I thought because I have a checking account and credit card with them that I had a good setup going. So, for my new car now in 2022 I wanted to work with Chase again. Omg, what a big mistake that was. They up’d my interest rate to a 7%, they won’t work with me to lower it because I did it through the dealership again (that was because the dealership said it would be a better process with paying off the loan etc…) and they don’t offer refinancing. I’m thinking about closing all of my accounts I’m so done with them. This is terrible.
I there was less stars I would have been generous. Made a car loan through Subaru with Chase. Monthly my password is no good, so I have to speak with someone who tells me my fingerprint must have changed. It is always the customers fault, Chase does nothing. As for Patriot Subaru, the dealer said "we'll pay your taxes to make it easier for you". What he meant was the taxes would be added to my Subaru sales and I would end up paying them an extra $400 over the life of the loan. Terrible doing business with them both.
Chase customer service reps are very rude and nasty. I will never get another loan through that company. Im glad I sold my car to Carvana and soon will not have to deal with them.
