Had them for years and never had to make a claim. This year had a cracked windshield and they replaced it same day. Later this year had storm damage on roof. They had adjuster out following week and a check to help fix it the next. Great work and easy process!
It is just the basic coverage to meet state requirements, but that is all I really need. I get a great rate and the longer I am with them I get better rates for being a loyal customer. Reps are great on the phone and my rates never went up after an accident that was not my fault!
Good straight forward auto insurance, easy to sign up and print proof of insurance the same day. Great option when your past insurance company hikes prices for seemingly no reason and you can't talk them lower/ don't want to waste your time. Customer service line was friendly and helpful but made a few typos as far as correcting an error in the spelling of the autoload lienholder's name. Required about 3 emails and 3 phone calls to finally get this straightened out, very strange but maybe that's the San Francisco culture, who knows. Lets see if they can disrupt the old and sluggesh insurance system to a better way to handle business and grow a cult like following with brand loyalty similar to the likes of Tesla and T-Mobile. Or will they let greed set in and return to the old game of price hikes every renewal period, sometimes subtle enough so maybe you won't notice. Others have complained of these price hikes on other review sites but hard to verify, most didn't seem to confirm their idenity, maybe for fear of backlash. I guess only time will tell.
Look for actual customer reviews and not paid website reviews!!
My husband got hurt at work and we have been fighting for 2 days to get him into the doctors on Workers Comp.
Customer service is beyond rude and heartless. Takes them forever to file a claim, even when it says "IRGANT MEDICAL ATTENTION REQUIRED".
"Handler" actually said "Well it doesn't say you need surgery" When every doctor who has seen his xrays(including the hospital) stated there was no way he wasn't going to need surgery.
They were going to make a man with a badly broken leg and running out of pain meds, wait up to 5 days to see a doctor "Its going to be a few hours for this" day one "its going to be a few hours to find doctors in your area" day two. Horrible people working for a horrible company.
The coverage itself is OK and the rates are competitive, particulary for young drivers. After a year, they increased the premium on one policy. When I inquired about that, they'd made an error on the original policy. I've now spent two weeks trying to correct that error. Your local agent can't correct the problem. Their Policy Services group isn't available on weekends. They don't have a chat feature at all. When I emailed, I was told I had to call. That number is ALWAYS busy so they encourage you to leave a message, promising to call back the next day but they don't call. If you just sit on hold they'll finally talk to you--and try and sell you some more insurance even though you're an unhappy customer. And, once I did speak to someone who could correct the problem and when I forwarded documentation to the email they provided, it bounced back as undeliverable.
Esurance behaves like your standard cut-rate insurance company without actually being much cheaper. I live in Ohio and we've had several wind storms over the past several months. One of my outbuildings was damaged with missing shingles, being a 2 story Gambrel roof with damage on the top section, the damage went un-noticed until water damage was seen inside. The inspector found 11 damaged shingles on one side and 6 damaged shingles on the other, all allowing water ingress into the residential grade outbuilding. In the inspector's own works "That'll be enough for any insurance company I ever worked with to replace the roof"... not Esurance apparently. I have insurance to protect my property in case of damage, not to take the cheapest route possible to avoid going over my deductible. Chris, the adjuster for Esurance, called back after the report and said that they would repair the shingles only, not the decking, not the tar paper, not the water damage, and not replace the roof. Steer clear of Esurance at all costs, I'll be changing as soon as possible and submitting a dispute with Lexis Nexis to get anything about this off my CLUE report.
The customer service will be the only department you will have the best experience. They have to trap you in to believe that you are going to be dealing with a great insurance company. You will have an absolute nightmare when you have to file a claim with them. It is impossible to get a hold of the "Initial Action Adjuster". It is a constant game of cat and mouse. Even if you call them a minute after your missed their call they will never answer. The manager of the "Initial Action Adjuster" is just as worst. My policy to end September 14 and I will not renew my policy with them. Other insurance companies such as Geico, State Farm, or Allstate are little more in pricing but they all have way better customer service than Kemper Infinity. I will not be surprised if a lawsuit is filed against them.
i was dropped by Geico after a fender bender and never it. They said they sent a letter to inform me but i never knew that untill i called with am insurance queestion
I drove for 3 months without insuaace becasue they never sent a registier letter or emailed me to let me know of the cancallaitons
These companies, LibMu and SafeCo, are complete scam artists. If you have money to burn and nothing better to do with your time, then by all means, go for it. They will gladly take your money, including billing you for the full amount when they are suppose to change you a monthly premium. Afterwards you can look forward to them penny pinching your repairs and denying some of them outright. WE required $14,000 of repairs to our 5th wheel RV which they pinched down to $1,400. That, right! 1/10th. Then they told us that we had to locate and take the 5th wheel to another repair facility because the roof repair that they authorized was not performed by our facility due to excessive liability issues. What does that way about the quality and reliability of the repair that LibMu authorizes? Honestly, I am not sure how this company is still in business. I suppose that there really is a sucker born every minute... Learn from our mistakes and don't be that Guy or Gal.
THEY LOW BALL CLAIMS AND WHEN YOU PRESENT A CASE PROVING THEM WRONG, I WENT AS FAR AS GOING THROUGH THEIR CALCULATION SHEETS THE CARS THEY USED WERE NOT EVEN COMAPARABLE ONE HAD A MANUAL TRANS , MINE IS AN AUTOMATIC, THE OTHER TWO HAD 20,000 AND 30,000 MORE MILES THAN MINE AFTER CONFRONTED THEM THEY ASKED TO PROVIDE THEM THEM WITH THE VIN NUMBERS AND AVAILABILITY OF THE CARS I FOUND CLOSER TO THE TRUTH WHAT DO THEY DO IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE OH THERE IS SO MUCH MORE, I USED THEM FOR MANY MANY YEARSD BEWARE OF THE DOG
