Look for actual customer reviews and not paid website reviews!!

My husband got hurt at work and we have been fighting for 2 days to get him into the doctors on Workers Comp. 

Customer service is beyond rude and heartless. Takes them forever to file a claim, even when it says "IRGANT MEDICAL ATTENTION REQUIRED". 

"Handler" actually said "Well it doesn't say you need surgery" When every doctor who has seen his xrays(including the hospital) stated there was no way he wasn't going to need surgery.

They were going to make a man with a badly broken leg and running out of pain meds, wait up to 5 days to see a doctor "Its going to be a few hours for this" day one "its going to be a few hours to find doctors in your area" day two. Horrible people working for a horrible company.

Great Coverage at a fair price!

I have homeowners, 2 full coverage car policies, and a 1 million dollar umbrella with them... If you just want the minimum at the cheapest price; Travelers may not be for you.  However, if you want the best coverage with great adjusters and a culture that supports and takes care independent agents; then go with Travelers.  The prices are competitive.  However, the coverage is second to none... Also might add the Umbrella coverage was super important to my wife and me.  They were one of the only companies that could write it.

Who cares what coverage you have. Have you ever had to file a claim based on that coverage? I'm looking for reviews because I want to see if others have found an experience as negative as mine has been. Following a car accident the claims professional seemed, well, very unprofessional. They are trying to issue a payout for the damage based on pictures alone and before anyone sees the vehicle in person. Correspondence is littered with spelling errors... just doesn't seem right.
