My wife and I have had it for over 10yrs., and living out in the country they have never disappointed us.

Gave us good advice, which turned out to help when we needed it. Don't regret having it.

So disappointed in the decline

I've had AAA insurance for 15+ years for auto and renters insurance. The renters insurance had always been a "cya". I used it ONCE, at the same time I had to use my auto policy because my truck was stolen. FULL COVERAGE auto policy didn't cover the items I had in my vehicle, like my gym bag and emergency kit, but I found out my renters poiicy did. I thought that was great, finally able to use the insurance I've paid for for 10 years. My rate immediately jumped up.

Now, onto the experience with the theft department. My truck was recovered w/i 24 hours of the theft. Minor damange (drivers mirror, missing light bulbs, weird stuff) needed to be fixed and the truck needed to be cleaned, the folks that stole it were not the cleanest of people. 

I'm currently 3 MONTHS into getting these minor repairs done because the field evaluator cant be bothered to show up for work. Week long delays, no updates, no communication. I've also had FOUR claims agents, none of them seem to last more than a couple of weeks. 

AAA used to be the freaking GOLD standard of insurance companies, now they are just a scammy, bargain basement ripoff. 

I can't wait to get my truck back so I can go find an agent who can be bothered to care.

Misleading company, horrific service!

Please DO NOT every do business with AAA. They have great name recognition which is what brought me to AAA but after my horrible experience with them, I'm realizing that most insurance companies will offer the same exact benefits or better. AAA's customer service is the worst I have ever had to deal with. Their representatives are lazy and slow to help, they will do the bare minimum to appease the customer and usually that means they'll do nothing. 

I am a first time customer and I signed up because I had heard about their great towing options (sidenote: most insurance companies have great towing options). I was told I had 100 free miles of towing. Then I was stranded one night in the middle of nowhere. I called for a tow only to find out that I had used all of my "entitlements." I had never even heard this word pertaining to my services when I signed up or thereafter. I was on the phone with a representative who refused to help me and was downright rude. Now I've been calling all kinds of different numbers and dealing with countless of their reps to no avail. I can't even get through to a manager.

Been with AAA for 53 years and never had a mishap or any kind of a bad experience. My rep checks with me to make sure I'm pleased with his service and suggest meeting with him any time to go over the rates and if any discounts are available he puts them in for me. I have my house and 2 autos insured and wouldn't think of changing. I have had other insurance companies call and tried to beat my prem but they all came in higher with less coverage,
