Sounds like an error, which is no uncommon in credit reports.  Go to annualcreditreport.com and get copies of all 3 credit reports.  Look them over carefully, then file disputes on each error with the credit bureau reporting same, and follow the advice for doing so by reading the article on Disputes which you will find under the Resources heading to the left.  The credit bureau is supposed to investigate, then verify or delete the entry. 

Make it a habit to check your credit reports once a year to make sure only the correct information is shown on them.
