You need to talk to a licensed tax consultant who is also an enrolled agent.  This person understands tax law very well and can cut through some of the red tape that may otherwise face you.  They can also help arrange a payment plan to get those  taxes up to date.  There will be some fines, but that is to be expected.  Do not delay, though.  Stepping up to get this resolved looks a whole lot better than waiting for the IRS computers to finally catch up.
