I have 2 Store CC accounts never used, 5-7 yrs old, but low limits. Will closing them hurt bad?
I'm interested in closing these cards because we were thinking of opening a card to a store that we can actually use.

If these cards are reported in your credit report, I would not close them.   A 5-7 year old card is good for your "average age of accounts" which is a positive factor on your credit report.   As you open this new store card those other cards would offset the damage.    It is possible that they reference on your report and have already been closed for inactivity.  Check the status of the cards in the account details.   If they are marked closed, they have already been deactivated and are just a reference to prior credit history for 7 years from the closed date.
