How to improve my credit score?
About 1 1/2 years ago, I started managing my credit score. At the time my credit score was pretty bad. Around 540 or so because of delinquent accounts (collections). I realize there is not much I can do about those accounts except wait. I believe they will disappear in 5 more years. I do not have and auto loan or mortgage (i do not make enough money to buy a car or house, yet). I am currently in school, so my school loans won't show up in my credit report until after I am finished. I have 2 credit cards (both secured) with a total of $500 limit. My utilization score stays lower than 5% ALWAYS. My credit score has been stuck at 672 for a few months. I'd like to upgrade to a better apartment some time next year without having to pay a high security deposit. Is there any way to bring up my credit score faster than what I am doing now?
