How do I find out where my debt collections are coming from?
I have debt, however, I don't know where it is coming from. How do I figure out who to contact to pay off the debt that I can trust?

The credit report contains the contact info for the collections agency... you culd always start there. If there is no information listed, then request a full copy of the credit report, which really should have that info (and if it does not, then I think you can dispute the entry...)
