Credit card utilization and refinancing home loan
I plan on refinancing my home in 3-4 months, but have a few questions as I prepare...

I just opened 3 new cards in Feb, so my scores dropped a bit. CK 728, CS 779. My overall utilization is less than 5%.... The majority of my spending goes on my Amex BCP with 0% interest thru next January. I'd like to take advantage of this perk as much as possible without lowering my score (only making the min payments for a few months will leave me with more cash for the refi fees).

On refi's do they only look at overall utilization or would carrying a medium balance on one card negatively impact me? My thought is to have all balances post at 0% but the Amex be around 20% (this will still leave me around 5% overall). Is this a good target or could my Amex utilization be a little lower/higher?
