Collection agency scam?
I have a collection agency calling about a school housing payment from ten years ago. They are saying it is under my mother and I's names. This bill was paid seven years ago, but I have no documentation. It is NOT on here. According to Credit Karma, I have zero items in collections. Is this a scam? What can I do about it?

Credit Karma is only displaying accounts that have been reported to Transunion. Make sure you go to annualcreditreport.com and check the other two, Experian and Equifax. If nothing is showing there either i would say it is most likely a scam. If you knoe where you had your past student loan you could always contact them and ask for a copy of the payoff letter. Any loan you once had, you should receive a letter stating that the loan has been paid in full. i recommend you keep those in a save place
