The collection account may have been sold from one collector to another and that is why it was removed and reappeared. If it is still with the same collection company, who knows why the removed it and then placed it back on. Collections accounts for most debt are allowed to remain on your reports for seven years from the time that the original account became delinquent. The dates that you see now are the dates that the collections were opened and placed on your reports, those dates mean nothing, the seven years DOES NOT start from those dates.
