Closed accounts reporting negative information
A closed deliquent account that hadn't been active for 2 years just reported negative information to Experian, resulting in a decrease to my credit score. My concern / question is, is the creditor or CB legally allowed to report information from accounts that are closed 2-3 years prior? If you have any opinions on how you would handle this please let me know. Challenge again or just pay off?
