There has been some good information on the Statute of Limitations and how they may or may not relate to credit reports. One answer from an attorney mentioned that once the Statute of Limitations (SOL) has expired that a demand should be made to the credit bureaus to remove the account BECAUSE the SOL was reached.
Are the credit bureaus compelled under law to remove such accounts when the SOL has passed?
