Has Credit Karma helped anyone improve their score?

If you follow the advice they give and improve on the areas of your report card, sure.  Why wouldn't it?

They basically tell you where you as a consumer are lacking in your credit file and give you basic advice on ways to improve your score.

If people can claim this site don't help them, then there just not applying the info they receive here.  You can lead a horse to water.. but you can't make him drink so..

Credit files on individuals are separate unless its a shared account, like spouse co-signed for it.  Authorized user, ect.  Then those specific accounts can appear on both parties credit files.

Does using Freedom Debt Relief services harm your credit score?

I've never heard of this company, but i imagine they are a 3rd party credit clean up service?

No, it wont hurt your score but using any of these kinds of services are a waste of money since all they do is call your debtors and negotiate better rates, try to remove neg. items.. ect.

Things you can all do easily yourself for FREE.  Educate yourself by surfing the net and find articles on how to clean up your credit.

A 66% uti rate would cause a credit score to plummet tho.

I think it would just be easier to keep the uti low until your score is good enough to apply for a Real credit card.

Sub prime lenders like Orchard should only be short term cards.  5 years max. After that keep the card open for credit history, but barely use it.

How can I get the hard inquiries off my score?

Since you were shopping for a loan these inquiries are probably legit.  I wouldn't try to contact the CRA's and try to get them removed.

Like hard 8 says, if there all in a short time period then future lenders will group them and count em as one.

After 6 months these inquires wont have much weight on your score at all and after 2 years there removed from yoru report.. so its just a time thing.

score on Karma credit was 624-went to the dealership and was told my score was actually 494? Advice?...

because debtors, lenders, collectors don't always report to all 3 credit agencies.  So its possible to get a 700 score at transunion and say 600 at equifax for example.

Why its best to check scores at all 3 bureaus before applying for any type of loan.  that way your better prepared.

and like was already mentioned, Credit karma reflects Transunion's report.  Equifax or Experion could be 100 points different.

how much will my credie score increase if i remove a judgement

It would vary depending on how old the judgement is.  A judgement 3 months old removed would be a much bigger jump in score  then one thats 6 years old.

If your cards go to a 0 balance and show inactive for a number of months it can hurt your credit score.  It depends on how many cc's you have for the impact on your score.

Keeping a 1 - 7% balance on each card would serve your credit score best and the interest you pay is minimal.  Everyone advises to pay off the balance in full every month to avoid interestt.  But if your credit score is important, like your planning to take apply for a loan soon.

Then your better served to keep a very small balance on each card. say $10 - $70 on a card with a limit of $1000.  Its a trade off, pay a little in interest for a better score

At least 720 for a good rate.  I wouldn't bother with a score less then 620.

I need to know who i owe so i can make payments. Names and phone numbers

Pull your credit report.  You'll find that information there.  You won't find it on ck.
