why are tax liens that were paid on credit report
report is showing tax liens from 07 & 08 that were paid,and a judgement from 10 that was paid,there is no lingering debt involving any of the three,why are they there,&how do I remove them

Tax liens

Helpful to 2 out of 2 people

If they are paid, they will still stay on for up to 7 years, but should be shown as paid.  If not shown as paid send proof to the credit reporting agencies that they are paid.

after the lien is paid, is there a way of disputing and having it removed from public record?
