Become an authorised user...

Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

You can usually improve your score a little, quickest, by becoming an 'authorized user' (not to be confused with 'joint user') on someone's good credit card.  When you become an authorized user on a card, you get the history of the card reported on your credit report.  And since you don’t have a legal responsibility to pay the debt, should the owner fail to pay on time and start to drop your score, you can drop the card and it will be removed from your credit report/scores.  Just understand that it is considered a big risk for the owner to have someone else listed as an authorized user on their card.  So be responsible and never use the card.
