What to do about dispute situation?
I've recently began establishing credit for the first time and checked in to see if there is anything on my report. Had a few things in collections to which I was surprised, given I've never taken out a loan or had a credit card. I was able to get 2 of my 3 collection items deleted from TU and had one remaining on Equifax which I have disputed. This is where I got confused and I'm looking for advice, I disputed the collection on Equifax and got results emailed to me 3 days later, the account status changed to deleted. I checked in on my report a couple days after and noticed it was not gone on CK, I checked Equifax again and was prompted to dispute the collection once again. Now my collection account has been sitting as -consumer dispute investigation in progess- for the last month and a half. Not sure where to go or what to do from here. Any advice helps. Thanks in advance.
