what can you do because your dad used your identity?
Both have the same name one is 48yrs old the other is 18.

It ia a shame that a man can use a child like this. No the young man doesn't want to ppress charges against him. After all he is his dad.

It could also be that the entries made by credit bureaus didn't take the identical names into account, and this is going to be a problem for some time, which is why it will be essential for the younger one to check credit reports annually and file disputes on all wrong information with the credit bureaus reporting it.  Then, the errors can be deleted.
