using great credit history from one card to secure another card
i have a bofa card with my soon to be ex- wife.she is the signature on the account,however i am the one who paid all the bills.that card has a $13,500 limit on it.can i use that solid credit line to get a card of my own?

You should be able to

Go to BofA, they have a great rewards card available now. If you were a signer on the old card, you should have no trouble securing a new account. 

Get the new card before closing or removing yourself from the old one.
