Can a debt in collection that dropped after 7 years be put back on you credit, I want to report this to the BBB but I dont know if this is something that can be done?

No, it cannot. If the collection did fall off 7 years from the time that the original account went delinquent and a company added it back on, they have violated the law. You can dispute this account directly with the credit bureaus as too old to report. You can file complaints as you said. You can contact a consumer law attorney and sue the company for violations of the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act).
