So I keep being told by lenders that Credit Karmas scores are wrong Don't use them.Clarification
If we can't count on Credit Karma to be accurate then why use them? There is a huge difference between the scores here and the ones you see on the credit websites. Having problems getting a Home loan do to the discrepancy between credit Karmas scores and the scores by the credit bureaus.

The purpose of Credit Karma is to TEACH people how credit works and how to improve their credit scores, period!  It is not a credit bureau.  The scores here are approximations based on the information from two of the three credit bureaus and calculated using the Vantage 3 method. When using the financial tools such as the credit score simulator, you can see what effect certain actions might have on your credit score in this virtual scenario instead of having the pain of making a wrong decision in real life where you cannot get a "do over".  I learned a lot on this site, made needed changes and have the joy of a much improved credit score.

It might be irrelevant, because lenders do not use it for their lending decisions but that doesn't make it wrong, besides CK isn't the one calculating your scores, it's the credit bureaus by using VantageScore3 model. We have 100s credit scores out there, there is no correct/incorrect scores, there only is relevant and irrelevant scores. Any scores aren't using by lenders is irrelevant, different lenders might use different score models. When and if you find a lender uses VantageScore3 then CK's scores you see here? Its absolutely spot on. Before you quoting/compare scores, always find out what scoring modes they are from.
